Admission Procedures
The “Application for Admission” form must be completed, signed by both parents, and returned accompanied by the application fee. Parents are advised to seek admission early as places are frequently oversubscribed before the admission date.
In the year preceding proposed admission, parents will be contacted by post. If no letter has been received from the school by March of the year preceding the admission year, it is the parents’ responsibility to contact the school. Girls will be required to sit an entrance examination in English, Mathematics and/or other key subjects or, in the case of Grades 00, R and 1, a school readiness assessment. Parents will be notified whether or not their daughters have been accepted. Girls are accepted into Grade 00 from the year in which they turn four or five (depending on their date of birth). Girls are accepted into Grade R from the year in which they turn five or six (depending on their date of birth) and into Grade 1 from the year in which they turn six or seven (depending on their date of birth). Girls and parents will be afforded an opportunity to have a tour around the school and will be invited to our Open Evening or Open Day.
