There has never been a more exciting time to join HNMCS, a Catholic School serving Mississauga and the GTA. Re-established in 2008 by The Felician Sisters and St. Michael’s College School, Holy Name of Mary College school is a private Catholic school for girls in grades 5-12. HNMCS has been transformed in recent years with new academic, facility, co-curricular, and athletic initiatives which have created one of the most complete and well balanced school experiences in the GTA. Our students come from all over the GTA - some from significant distance - to attend our wonderful school.
The Admissions Process is very straightforward. For those parents who have never explored independent school education, the steps below should assist you in making the best possible choice for your daughter.
You should experience our school in person. There is no better way to ensure a school is a good fit for you and your daughter than to book a visit. A personal visit allows you to ensure that your preliminary research is matched in practice. Ask questions and speak to as many staff, students, and parents as possible. This will give you the best sense of the actual environment your daughter will be experiencing. Be sure to pick up an application package during your visit which should answer most of your remaining questions about the process. Our school schedules Open Houses and personal tours to facilitate your exploration of our community.
We recommend each prospective family explore our website and view some of the videos and photos. This information will give you a good idea of our school community, our students, and our beliefs. An excellent first step in successfully selecting a school is to make sure that the school values and approach align with your wishes for your daughter.
Once you have decided our school community is the place for your daughter, please complete the application form available below or begin the process online and register your daughter to write the test. Based on the outcome of that process, your daughter will be offered admission to our school and join our wonderful community of learners.
