Choosing a high school for your son or daughter is a decision which provides the foundation to their success in life and prepares them for their post-secondary studies. High school should be a time for self-discovery and growth. At West Island College, we have been helping students reach their unique potential for over 40 years. Each course, class trip, sport, activity, and volunteer program they take part in over the next five years is designed to help develop each child’s character, creativity, and learning proficiency. Download and print the application form. Please submit your application form with the following documents:

• A wallet sized photograph.
• A copy of the applicant’s year-end report cards for Grades 3, 4 and 5.
• The applicant’s permanent code, available from the elementary school or in evidence on the applicant’s report card. Quebec residents can only be processed with a correct permanent code.
• A cheque is payable to West Island College. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
• Copy of the applicant’s birth certificate (long format, with both parents’ names printed on it).
• Copy of the applicant’s certificate of eligibility for English studies (if applicable).

Students who meet the initial criteria based on the completed application will be invited to meet with the Headmaster for a dialogue. Our Admissions Officer, Mrs. Tatiana Deveau will contact you to schedule an appointment. WIC assesses each applicant individually and uses several indicators to determine if the student will be successful in WIC’s environment. The report cards, evaluation, group activity, and dialogue with the Headmaster will all be considered in the admission process.  The deadlines for issuing responses for Secondary 1 admission are determined by the QAIS and FEEP.
