Finding a school with the right fit for your son can be challenging, so it is certainly worth taking the time to research your options and make an informed decision. We encourage you to visit our school, walk the halls and get a feel for what it’s like to be a Georgian.

At RSGC, we strive to make certain that every student is “Known and Loved”. Everyone is encouraged to reach his full potential, not only in the classroom, but also on the sports fields, on stage and in the community. As an independent university preparatory school offering Grades 3-12, we deliver a challenging curriculum by implementing the best practices for boys. We take pride in promoting a balanced program through which we celebrate the varied achievements of our students.

Entrance Test information

Following a process of research, reflection and consideration, RSGC has evolved our admissions process to one that more accurately reflects the RSGC approach to education while continuing to identify the type of student who will thrive in our environment. It is with this in mind, that we have elected to discontinue the use of the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) as a testing tool for admissions. The SSAT will be replaced with an RSGC-created evaluation process that will assess a variety of criteria including critical thinking and communication skills, literacy and numeracy. Our student-centered admissions process will continue to look at academic skills, aptitude, character and potential through school reports, in-house testing, interviews, and observations to provide a complete and personalized picture of each candidate. Admission to RSGC includes the student’s participation in the following entrance tests:

  • Grade 3 Applicants: Tested during the interview.
  • Grades 4–12 Applicants: Entrance Tests will take place on the day of the interview following the candidate’s interview.
