Application Information

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of R500 per application is payable when an application form is submitted.

Application Documents

The application form must be accompanied by a copy of the applicant’s latest school report and proof of payment of the application fee. All documents may be scanned and emailed to admissions@twc.org.za or delivered to the school.

Admission Interview & Assessment

Before an offer of a place can be made, the applicant is required to attend an admission interview with the Lady Principal or the Headmistress of the Junior School. No girl is admitted to The Wykeham Collegiate without an interview. All girls are also required to be assessed in a manner appropriate to their age (oral/written/both). Admission Information

Deposit

When a girl is offered a place by the school, a non-refundable admission fee becomes payable:

• Junior School Day Girl - R3000
• Junior School Boarder - R4500 
• Senior School Day Girl - R5000
• Senior School Boarder - R8000

Parents resident outside South Africa are required to make an additional deposit equivalent to one term’s boarding and tuition fee, which will be offset against the balance of the girl’s final account from the school.

Parent Contract

The proof of deposit must accompany the Parent Contract, which is required to be signed by both parents and/or guardians, or, in the case of one parent/guardian, that parent and an acceptable surety. The signatories are to be witnessed.

Confirmation of Place

Once the proof of payment of the admission fee and the correctly completed Parent Contract have been received, the school will be able to formally confirm placement.
