We welcome applications from students representing all racial, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds who have demonstrated good character, conduct and academic performance. Accordingly, recruitment efforts are intended to enrich the already diverse student body now focusing on children and families who excel in the areas of academics, athletics, arts, entrepreneurship and community service, among others, but who might not otherwise have access to an ASF education.

Admission Process

Families interested in beginning the admission process for their children must follow these steps:

Check admission calendar

Calendar for Families Residing in Mexico applying for school year

Apply online Schedule an interview

After submitting the online application, parents of students applying from K1 to first grade should schedule an interview. From second grade to eleventh grade, families must follow the admission calendar. Please note that all students must live with a parent or legal guardian while attending ASF. Guardians are required to join the applicant at the time of the admission interview so they understand the conditions of guardianship.

Send report cards and recommendation forms

Once you have submitted your online application, you should email current school records as they become available to the admissions office. After the student has been enrolled in his or her current school for at least three months of the current academic year, you must request recommendation forms from that school.

If you are applying for grades K1-5, please request one ASF School Recommendation form. If you are applying for grades 6-11 please request three recommendation forms: one from the principal or counselor; one from an English or social studies teacher; and one from a math or science teacher.

Take school-administered test

A $1,500-peso fee is charged for each test:

  • K1, K2, K3 or Grade 1: The Admission and Financial Aid Office will schedule a visit to the ECC where candidates will be evaluated and observed.
  • Grades 2 Through 12: Applicants are interviewed and tested by the Admission and Financial Aid Office.

Candidates arriving from abroad

During the school year enrollment is available for qualified candidates arriving from abroad. Candidates must submit an online application and school recommendation forms. The Admission Committee will review the applicant's file once all the required documents have been received by the Admission Office. You are welcome to contact the Admission and Financial Aid Office for additional information or to check if your application file is complete.
