Prestige School understands that while September might be the most convenient time for students to start a new school, sometimes changing schools can occur at some other point during the school year. This is the reason we accept students any time of the year, aiming at accommodating any situation.
Before acceptance to Prestige School, parents and students will meet with the principal and the potential homeroom teacher. In addition to this, a written assessment will be performed during the appointed time. Admission to Prestige School will be based both on the meeting and the results of the written assessment. A copy of the prospective student’s most recent report card would aid the admission process. Therefore, parents are encouraged to bring this document with them to the initial meeting.
Thank you for including us in your search for an international education. International students will need a permit to study in Canada if their course of study is longer than six months. Before you submit a study permit application you will need:
At The Prestige School, all students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, are required to wear the school uniform. The uniform promotes unity amongst our student body and school spirit when representing our school in the various functions we participate in. It also demonstrates the students’ respect and readiness for learning.
Everyday school uniform consists of crested white dress shirt or polo white shirt, tie, navy dress pants, plain black shoes, and navy or black dress socks. Girls have the option of wearing the navy blue school skirt (Kindergarten to Grade 3) or the plaid school skirt (Grade 4 to Grade 12) with navy blue stockings or knee socks, provided that the hem does not fall higher than 10 cm above the knee.
Formal school uniform will be required for school presentations and most school trips. The formal school uniform consists of white dress shirt, crested school vest, tie, navy dress pants, plain black shoes, and navy or black dress socks. Girls have the option of wearing the navy blue school skirt (Kindergarten to Grade 3) or the plaid school skirt (Grade 4 to Grade 12) with navy blue stockings or knee socks, provided that the hem does not fall higher than 10 cm above the knee. Students are expected to attend their physical education classes in navy crested gym shorts, a white crested T-Shirt, and gym shoes.
