When you’re ready to apply, fill out the online application .
Once you’ve completed the Online Application, Self-Reference and Parent/Guardian Reference forms will be sent directly to the student and parent/guardian emails that were provided in the Online Application.

Once you’ve been accepted, there will be several more online forms sent to you by email. These include information about health profile, record requests, and consent/commitment to involvement.

We recommend applying before April 1 to allow enough time to complete the application process, receive all relevant information, and be eligible for scholarships and bursaries in May. If you’re an international applicant, you must submit your application before May 1 to allow time for your study permit application. All students must pay a $100 application fee, but please note that there is an extra late fee of $100 for applicants who submit their applications after August 1.
Our Admissions office works hard to process applications quickly. Please note that applications that are received and completed prior to June 15 take up to two weeks to be reviewed by the BCA Admissions committee. Applications that are received after June 15 can take up to one month to be reviewed. We will contact you as soon as an acceptance decision has been made.
Once your application has accepted, you’ll need pay a confirmation deposit to confirm your enrolment at BCA. The confirmation deposit fee is $200 and can be paid by credit card, cheque, or e-transfer. This amount is credited to the student's account upon registration, but is not refundable if the student does not enrol. We require that students submit this fee in order to secure a place in at our school. You pay your confirmation deposit fee when you submit your online application form, OR you can use our online payment service.
We recommend that international students submit their high school application by May 1st. As you continue, it may be helpful to note that students who are Canadian citizens, but not permanent residents are still classified as international students. After being accepted by Briercrest, you will need to apply for a study permit and receive it before September. Late applications to Briercrest may not allow enough time for a study permit to be processed by the Government of Canada. A delayed start date may need to be considered.
A letter of acceptance for the purpose of obtaining a study permit cannot be released until the application portfolio is complete and reviewed and sufficient funds have been deposited into the applicant's student account. General Admission Requirements
For the study permit application, the Canadian government requires international students to provide a financial guarantee for themselves and all dependents that will be accompanying them to Canada for their first year of study. International students must deposit sufficient funds to cover tuition, living expenses, and other school fees for the student and family for the first year of studies in the applicant's Briercrest student account. For a financial estimate, please contact your Admissions Adviser.

These amounts will be held on deposit at Briercrest until they are needed for their intended purpose. Payment should be made in Canadian funds and is payable only by wire transfer, certified cheque, MasterCard, or VISA. In the event the study permit is denied, the full cost of attendance minus the application processing fee will be refunded.
If English is not your first and/or primary language, you will be required to take an English language test and complete an interview as part of the application process. For more information, see ENGLISH+ ESL Placement Exam.

Deposit the full amount of your first year’s tuition, fees, and living expenses into your student account. (Not applicable for American students, though proof of funds must be shown at customs/border crossing.)
Prepare documents for your study permit application. Once accepted, your letter of acceptance and a proof of funds statement will be sent to you electronically and by post. You will need these to apply for your study permit with the Government of Canada. You will receive a letter of introduction from the Government of Canada once your application has been approved. Please note that this is NOT your study permit. Study permits are given at customs/borders.
