At the minimum, CIS expects that applicants fulfil the CIS Admission Criteria in order to be considered for admission. The Admission Criteria will be periodically updated on the CIS website.
Applicants applying for admission to CIS are placed on a waiting list. Waiting lists are available separately for overseas and Japanese nationality children. Priority for admission will be based on the following:

The CIS school year starts at the end of August of each year. Children can however join CIS at any time during the year if space is available. Offers for 1st Term admission are issued from March onwards. Applications to join the waiting list can be made at any time of the year after that, as soon as the Application Fee has been paid and necessary documentation submitted
Before accepting a place at CIS parents must acknowledge they have seen and agreed to all CIS policies, including the Finance and Fee Policy
Once payment is received for the 1st term of the pupil’s enrolment, the pupil’s place will be reserved for the following term automatically for the same programme on the same days.
