We welcome around 200 new day and boarding pupils, from a range of cultural and academic backgrounds to our community every year, across six main entry points. Applicants for our day places mainly come from the local Hertfordshire and Essex area, with our excellent boarding facilities attracting full and weekly boarders from across the UK, and those overseas seeking a modern British education.
As an academically selective school with successful sports, art, drama, and music departments, we attract applicants from across the board.
Providing us with your information will help us to understand your family and personalise your journey with us. Visit our Admissions Portal to make an enquiry.
We do indeed have the huge campus with wonderful facilities and manicured pitches. We have a Pre-Prep, Prep School, Senior School, and Sixth Form all on one site. But our wonderful community is different in so many ways. Come and visit us at our next open event to see for yourself what this looks like. Alternatively you can book an individual visit.
Our main entry points are Reception (Pre-Prep), Years 3, 6 and 7 (Prep School) and Years 9 and 12 (Senior School for GCSE and A Level). The process and requirements vary depending on your point of entry
How to Apply
Our admissions team is here to support you and your child through the process of joining our wonderful, busy and successful community. We encourage you to visit us as many times as you wish, through open days, individual visits and to join us at College-wide events.
Every family’s journey to choosing a school for their child is slightly different. You will look, as you must, at several schools for your child. You will, of course, be looking for the best fit that offers the best future.
We have outlined a typical journey with the usual key milestones along the way to help you understand our process. Please fill in your child’s date of birth and citizenship to find out the available entry points.
