Welcome to Sexey’s Admissions pages. You will find lots of information here about the application process for Sexey’s and we hope that you find it useful. But do please feel free to email the Admissions Officer at any time with additional queries – we are always delighted to hear from you.
Most girls and boys join Sexey’s when they are aged 11+ (Year 7), but we do accept in-year applications throughout the School, except for Year 11 (which disrupts teaching and preparation for examinations).
The School day starts at 8.40am for morning registration with the school day finishing at 3.40pm (Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week).
We welcome you to attend our regular Open Days, and to arrange a visit of the School. Please email the Admissions Officer for more details.
We will try to respond to your enquiry as soon as possible, but thank you for your patience as we are a very busy Admissions office. Normal office hours are 9am to 4pm Monday-Friday during term time.
How to apply to Lower School

If you are looking to board in Years 7 – 11
Please complete the application form and return it to the Admissions Officer. Once an application form is received, we will request a reference from your son or daughter’s current school, then invite him or her for a boarding interview. We will then notify you of the School’s decision regarding your child’s suitability to board, and offer of a place shortly after the interview. This form is for full and part-time boarding applications.

How to apply to Sexey's Sixth
We’re delighted that you’re considering a place at Sexey’s Sixth Form. To apply, please download the application form below, or if you have further questions, please contact the Sixth Form Admissions Officer, Mrs Anita Masters on 01749 814101.
Our minimum entry requirement to Sexey’s Sixth Form is five Level 5s and above, as well as a Grade 4 in English and Mathematics. Some subject options require different minimum entry requirements, as outlined in the full list of subjects found on our curriculum pages.
