Thank you for your interest in St. Catherine’s Academy! Founded in 1889, St. Catherine’s Academy is committed to providing students with a foundation for lifelong success. SCA enrolls approximately 170 students and maintains a student to faculty ratio of 15:1. We are the only elementary boarding school in the United States.
At SCA, we believe that a truly valuable education consists of exceptional academics and so much more. That’s why St. Catherine’s is more than a school. At SCA, your son will receive outstanding instruction in the classroom, but he will also grow in his faith guided by our Dominican Charism, develop confidence through our military tradition, and participate in athletics, arts, and community service to become the kind of well-rounded leader our future needs.
St. Catherine's Academy knows boys. We have been educating them exclusively for over 129 years. Our all-boys school program is focused in the interests and needs of boys and young men so they can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

During the admissions process, each applicant will be evaluated on character, academic performance, willingness to work to his potential, and ability to work cooperatively with others. The process can take as little as one week and consists of the following steps:
Step 1. Request an information packet
Step 2. Attend a private tour, parent information night, or weekend tour
Step 3. Schedule a cadet shadow visit for your prospective student
Step 4. Submit required documents
Step 5. Interview with principal (student and parents)
