A very warm welcome to the Admissions Department at Rugby School. We are here to help every step of the way to make the admissions journey an easy one. Having explored our website, we encourage you to come and see us, and experience Rugby School for yourself. We can arrange a personal visit, or please do come and join one of our open days When you have decided Rugby School is right for your child, we will guide you through the registration process. The main points of entry are 13+ & 16+. We occasionally have available spaces at 14+. Please do contact us if you require further assistance or guidance through the process.
13+ Day
Registered candidates who are at a prep or primary school are invited to our 13+ Day assessment sessions in the Lent Term of Year 6.
Registered candidates who are at a local secondary school, independent or grammar school, who study the National Curriculum, are invited to our 13+ Day assessment sessions in the Lent Term of Year 8.
Registered candidates who are at a prep school can make a late enquiry for a potential place in Year 9. Entry would only be possible through a Foundation or Scholarship application, which takes place during Year 8.
Candidates will spend the morning, or the afternoon here. During this time, they will take part in:
16+ Day
We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and A Levels as part of our Sixth Form curriculum. For more details, click on the Curriculum Guide below.
International Applicants
Rugby School welcomes applications from candidates who live overseas. We ask that applicants from overseas should provide us with a UKiset report as soon as possible during the application process and certainly before the closing date for applications
