The prospective student and his family meet with the Head of School, Director of Admissions, Dean of Studies, and Dean of Students. The interview usually lasts between 1 1/2 and 2 hours and includes a tour of the campus. If a prospective student lives outside of the US or an interview is impossible before enrollment, the school will need complete records on the student and, in most cases, a telephone or Skype interview.
Following the interview, the Head of School, Director of Admissions, Dean of Studies, and Dean of Students discuss whether the prospective student is an appropriate match for Oxford Academy. Once a positive decision has been made, the Director of Admissions sends an acceptance letter to the student and his parents.
To ensure the student's enrollment at Oxford Academy, the parents or guardians of the student must submit the signed Enrollment Agreement. Questions regarding tuition may be answered by the Admission Office.
Since the course of study is individualized for each student, and all classes are comprised of one teacher and one student, students may start at Oxford at any time. Application for admission can be made throughout the year, with immediate enrollment as space is available.
