Lake Mary Preparatory School Open House

We are excited to welcome you to the Lake Mary Preparatory Open House! We would like to offer you the opportunity to see how we would prepare your child for academic excellence as we approach the new school year. This event is open to all families with students entering PreK-3 through 12th grade. We are hosting our Open House on Wednesday, May 6th,. Sign-in begins at 11:00 AM and the Open House will end at approximately 12:30 PM.

How to Apply

Our goal is to enroll students who will benefit from the programs offered at Lake Mary Preparatory School and who will contribute to the school community. While selecting students, we look for evidence of age-appropriate academic ability, motivation, interests, and potential for personal growth.

Application deadlines and procedures vary by grade level. See below for the steps to apply:

Step1: Interview and tour the facility with an admissions representative.

• Please Schedule a Tour to arrange a private tour. You can also call 407-805-0095 to make arrangements with our admissions staff.

Step 2: Arrange for an individual placement test with the Admissions Department.

Step 3: Provide up to three years of the most recent transcripts or report cards (if applicable).

Step 4: Submit standardized test scores for up to three years (if applicable).

Step 5: Submit the completed application and required forms.

• Nonrefundable application fee of $100, payable to Lake Mary Preparatory School
• Submit student birth certificate
• Submit School Recommendation Form
• Completion of Records Release Form
• Submit Student Information and Medical Form

*Please note, the school administrator’s recommendation form must be sent directly from the student’s current school otherwise the form will NOT be accepted. Parents may not submit this form under any circumstances!

Step 6: When the application process has been completed, and the applicant has been accepted, a tuition agreement is issued to the family.

• The Lower School at Lake Mary Prep is where success begins for many of our students. We offer a safe, nurturing, and academically-rigorous learning environment that builds strong foundations in our scholars.
• The Middle School is a setting where students are prepared for Upper School studies. Middle School years can be a challenge for many, but we are fortunate to have teachers and administrators that understand the needs of this unique stage in a child's development. We concentrate on developing writing and critical thinking skills across disciplines as well as social and emotional development.
• The Upper School fosters the research, argumentative, and communication skills that are at the core of college readiness and essential to lifelong learning. We cultivate curiosity and equip students with the tools needed for independent research and collaborative teamwork in order to make logical and evidence-based decisions.
