At Thornton Academy, our students are innovating, breaking the mold, creating memories, and preparing for life after high school. They are training for the upcoming World Quest championship in Washington D.C., preparing their Honors Fine Art Portfolios to send to top colleges, breaking records in the long jump, shadowing engineers in the field of aeronautics, and more! If this appeals to you, we invite you to learn more.
Our Admissions Team will make you feel welcome from the first inquiry and support you through your decision as to whether or not Thornton Academy is the right fit. If you are ready to learn more and experience a day in the life of a Trojan, we invite you to tour dormitories with one of our student ambassadors, shadow a class, or meet with teachers and advisors. If you aren't able to visit campus, our Admissions Team would be happy to arrange a time to chat and make sure that you have all of your questions answered.
Join our supportive environment where students can grow and thrive.
TAMS is an ideal setting for adolescents to experiment, grow, and discover themselves in a supportive and nurturing environment. The small, close-knit community allows teachers to provide an individualized approach in the classroom, which in turn works to encourage motivated and high achieving students who need to be stretched and challenged. TAMS builds a foundation of trust and support for those students who need extra care and support in specific areas.
