Mater Dei Catholic High School is an amazing place to continue your education and to learn, live and grow as an individual and a member of the global community. High School Admissions Process
Create School Admin Account
Create a School Admin account by clicking here. If you already have a SchoolAdmin account, you may simply login to your account.
Admissions Application Form
Complete and submit your child's application in SchoolAdmin. Once the application has been submitted, you will have access to the additional required forms. The nonrefundable application fee is $50.
Applicant Interview
Schedule an applicant interview after submitting your child's admission application. Interviews may be scheduled directly through any Admissions Team member. We encourage you to schedule your child's interview as soon as possible before February 6,. Mater Dei will host an official interview night in early February if your child has not completed the interview by that time. Your child's entire file does not need to be complete before scheduling the interview.
Admissions Test
Register your child for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) by clicking here. The High School Placement Test must be taken at Mater Dei Catholic High School on January 25, to be considered for any and all scholarships.
*Students with Learning Differences: Parents must provide current documentation of an IEP, 504 Plan, or private Neuropsychological or Psychoeducational evaluation (3 years or less) when the Admissions Application is completed. Documents must be submitted directly to the Admissions Office before January 15,. Students will receive extra time on the HSPT according to their qualifying documentation, if proper documentation is received prior to Friday, January 15, .
Academic Readiness, Grades, & Citizenship
Crucial to the admissions process is a students academic readiness and grades for the last 2 years. Mater Dei requires grades from the last two academic years for all applicants. Citizenship is also a critical component to the admissions process. Mater Dei requires the Behavioral/Social-Emotional Reports for each applicant.
Administrator & Teacher Recommendation
In your School Admin account, you may forward links to your current Principal and teachers so they may fill out these forms electronically.
Consent & Release of Information
Parents must print, sign, and submit this The Consent of Information form to your current school's registrar/secretary. This form grants permission for your current school to share all behavioral/social-emotional records w/ MDCHS, and is a required part of the application process.
