Apply Online
To apply for admission to The Calverton School, use this link to complete the online application. Please follow the instructions provided to create an account and start your application. There is a $75 application fee, per student.
If you are planning on applying for financial aid, we highly recommend that you do so in conjunction with the application process as it can take several weeks to process a decision for financial aid. Scholarships are available to students entering Grades 9-11, who meet certain academic criteria. The Calverton School does not accept seniors. Exceptions are made for qualifying military families and/or students who participated in an IB curriculum during their junior year.
Testing
Students entering grades K - 5 may contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a testing appointment. Applicants to Grades 6 - 11 should complete the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT).
These tests may be taken at any school that serves as a test site; please have your results forwarded to The Calverton School. You may register online at www.iseetest.org (Calverton's code is 210650) or at www.ssat.org. We recommend that students schedule testing in November and December due to the risk of inclement weather.
Applicants to grades 10 and 11 who have taken the PSAT/SAT or ACT may submit those scores for review to determine whether or not further testing is needed.
