Any high-school age student is welcome if he/she is of good moral character, is in grades nine through twelve, both expresses and demonstrates a sincere desire for a Christian education, and pledges to live by the standards of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mount Pisgah Academy is not equipped to handle young people who have major behavioral or scholastic challenges. Mount Pisgah Academy admits students of any race to all the rights, privileges, and programs for students at its school, and makes no discrimination on the basis of race in the administration of educational policies, application of admission, scholarship or loan programs, and athletic or extracurricular programs. It is understood that every student who presents himself/herself for admission to the school thereby pledges to observe willingly all its regulations, provide a positive attitude, and uphold the Christian principles upon which the school is founded.

Application Procedure

The following forms and important information are necessary for the application process to be completed. All forms should be mailed, emailed, faxed, or sent electronically to the Registrar.

To be sent or arranged right away:

  • Application completed (APPLY ONLINE) requires a $25 credit card fee
  • Reference forms from pastor or equivalent and two teachers
  • Financial arrangements made with the treasurer (kevin.worth@pisgah.us)
  • International students must complete the application process, be accepted as a student for the upcoming school year, and submit a $1,000 non-refundable tuition payment before an I-20 will be issued

To be sent before August 1:

  • Transcript from previous school(s) sent to MPA Registrar. (Grade placement cannot be assured until this is received. Seniors will not be allowed to have senior privileges, including class trip, without records.)
  • Work request form.

To be sent or brought no later than registration:

  • Registration staff must see original and make a copy of Social Security Card (must have to work and be paid)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate or passport
  • Consent for Treatment form (medical personnel will not treat a minor without this)
  • Immunization record (student may not legally remain in school without this)
  • Health Examination form
  • Copy of health insurance card and pharmacy/prescriptions card

Late Registration

Those who register more than three weeks late without transfer grades will be admitted only at the discretion of the Academic Standards Committee. Full tuition will be charged for all students registering late.

When to Apply

Mount Pisgah Academy encourages families to begin the application process as soon as possible. The application must be completed and supplemental application forms downloaded, completed and returned to the school. A non-refundable application fee of $25 must be submitted with each application. After the first three weeks of a semester, student applicants will not be accepted unless they are transferring into MPA from another school or from homeschooling.

How to Apply

The Admissions area of our website is designed to make the application process as simple as possible using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.

Creating an Online Application

To begin the Online Application process, select Create an Account from the menu above. Then log into your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application. After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms, and if necessary reprint the supplemental forms.

International students are an important part of Mount Pisgah Academy. We value the rich culture our international students bring to campus. If you are an international student interested in studying in the United States of America we hope you will consider Mount Pisgah Academy. We will do our best to assist you in the process of enrolling at MPA and succeeding in your academic endeavors.

We love having international students on our campus as it gives all of our students a wider world view. During the 2019-2020 school year, Mount Pisgah Academy educated international students from both Bermuda and China. Tuition for international students is $27,920.

Re-Enrollment

Mount Pisgah Academy is excited that you are interested in re-enrolling. The process is simple. As a current student you will receive an email from the Registrar's office. The email will give you instructions as to how to proceed. You DO NOT need to fill out another application online. If you have any questions regarding re-enrollment at MPA, you can email the registrar at records@pisgah.us or log on to your current RenWeb account.
