Step 1 | Make an enquiry: Complete the enquiry form online.
Step 2 | Visit us: Open Days are a great way to see the school and to talk to our teaching staff and pupils. We also provide guided tours in person, virtual tours and taster days which can be booked at this stage.
Step 3 | Apply: Return your completed application form and supporting documents such as your child’s school report and passport.
Step 4 | Pay application processing fee: Bank details will be provided directly.
Step 5 | Complete assessments: Our annual assessment dates are announced in advance and publicised on our website. Applicants outside of the standard applications window will sit assessments in either Chorister School or Durham School (or can be arranged in your child’s school if you live a considerable distance away).
Step 6 | Receive your offer: We will send this directly to your email address.
Step 7 | Sign and return offer acceptance letter.
Step 8 | Pay deposit: As outlined on offer letter.
Step 10 | Receive Enrolment Pack (May/June): Containing key information such as uniform & induction days.
Step 11 | Download Guides (June/July): Access Boarding and House Guides.

Step 2 | Provide relevant information: You will be asked to provide reports and supporting documentation to receive confirmation on whether you are eligible to apply.
Step 3 | Visit us: We provide guided tours in person, virtual tours and taster days which can be booked at this stage.
Step 4 | Apply: Return your completed application form and supporting documents such as your child’s school report, passport and parents’ passport.
Step 5 | Pay application processing fee: Bank details will be provided directly.
Step 6 | Complete assessments: Assessments should be invigilated by Agent, British Council or School. Special exception can be applied for to allow assessments to take place at home.
Step 7 | Arrange an interview: All applicants must be available for either a virtual interview or if possible, an interview in person at Durham School.
Step 8 | Receive your offer: We will send this directly to your email address.
Step 9 | Sign offer acceptance letter
Step 10 | Pay deposit: As outlined on offer letter.
