Boarding Admissions Process

Step 1: Get in touch

Our Head of Admissions, Lily Lam is your first point of contact for all boarding enquiries and can be reached by email lily.lam@claremontschool.co.uk. Alternatively, parents can fill out our Contact Form and we will be in touch with you to answer any questions you may have.

Step 2: Apply

The application process involves a formal interview with Mrs Francoise Armstrong, our Director of Boarding who is responsible for all academic and pastoral progress of our international students. There will also be an opportunity during the interview for students and parents to ask questions about the school and boarding experience at Claremont.

Step 3: Assessment

If also applying for a Football Academy place, Your child will also be interviewed by the Academy Director, Mr Jim Colston. During the interview students and parents will be able to find out more about the Academy programme.Both the academic and Football Academy interviews can be conducted face to face if parents and students decide to visit the school in person.

Step 4: Offer and Acceptance

If your child has met the requirements, you will receive an Offer Letter. Once you have accepted the offer of a place and paid a deposit to secure your child's place, they are officially a new member of the Claremont boarding community. The Admission process is now concluded and Mrs Armstrong is now the main point of contact for parents.

Step 5: Visa

In the 3 months leading up to the start date, Lily Lam we will guide you through the visa application process.

Step 6: Pre-departure

Leading up to your child’s start date, Mrs Armstrong will issue important information, such as the Boarding Handbook, and some forms that will need to be completed.
