Our bespoke admissions process focuses on the needs of each child and their family. As a ‘gently selective’ school, Windlesham House’s excellent record continues to prepare children for outstanding day and boarding senior schools.
We are proud to be different. We have a rich and long history whilst being progressive and innovative in our culture and approach. Our girls and boys are kind and caring, full of curiosity and risk takers. They will leave the school characteristically confident, well rounded and ready to embrace the challenges ahead with positivity.
Already curious? We would love to show you our school, Windlesham House.
We are looking forward to meeting you at either our open mornings or a personal tour with our Headmaster or member of our Senior Leadership Team.
Visit Windlesham
Our first step is to invite you in to visit the school and be shown around by some of our current pupils, giving you an inside glimpse into what life at Windlesham. Feel free to ask them plenty of questions - they love to chat about their adventures and what life as both a day and boarding student at Windlesham is really like, giving you a good understanding of the school.
Finding out a bit more
For us to find out more about your child, we will request CAT4 scores to give us an indication of their current academic levels and a recent school report for insight into how we could support them as a pupil at Windlesham both in an educational and pastoral sense.
Taster day
The next stage is to register and then we’ll arrange a taster day or overnight stay (depending on whether boarding is an option) and your child will be allocated a host from the same house. Their host will ensure they are happy and experiencing all parts of the school.
