Year 9 is a key entry point into Wycliffe College, whether it’s transferring from our Prep School or joining us from another school.
With pupils entering Year 9 from a wide range of schools and countries we spend a lot of time during this year ensuring that all pupils both new and present thrive academically, socially, creatively, and emotionally.

We help every pupil thrive and succeed in these key secondary school years by having specialist teachers, keeping our class sizes small and providing a network of support, starting with a Form Tutor. We provide study support, individual action plans and track progress from when a pupil joins our school to the end point. Whether that pupil is moving on from our Prep School or is moving from another school, our aim is to ensure they are well-supported, happy and can achieve their full academic, spiritual, physical and creative potential.
Our enhanced curriculum is underpinned by an extensive extra-curricular programme, which aims to enrich and develop each pupil individually.
Finding the right sixth form that will nurture your potential and will help guide you to explore your passions and interests can be a challenge. Choosing the wrong sixth form can be detrimental to your future opportunities. Wycliffe understand this which is why our approach ensures you can thrive as an individual during Sixth Form and helps set you up for success in later life. We offer a vast range of post-16 subject options, future career management support, enhanced pastoral care and, an extensive extra-curricular programme.
