This environment is created through the combination of highly skilled teachers, the rigor of the National curriculum for England and the US Massachusetts curriculum, top class facilities and resources for learning.
Our goal is for all new students to successfully transition both academically and socially into our community. Once admitted, students will participate in a variety of assessments to determine the best placement, academic programme and levels of potential support. We host a variety of parent information meetings and student orientation meetings for each student throughout the year at SRS.
Places in Foundation Stage are offered on application. Students attend a short play-based assessment.
Admissions to Year 1- 10 are confirmed following a review of the child’s most recent school report and entrance assessments in English and mathematics.
The Ministry of Education requires all families to submit the above mentioned documents for each child entering education in Dubai.
Once a place is offered to a child, a transfer certificate should be provided from the previous school and stamped by the relevant authorities listed below. This is a requirement by the Ministry of Education in UAE to allow students to complete the official registration process at SRS.
FROM WITHIN DUBAI SCHOOLS: Leaving Certificate letter from the previous school attested from KHDA to be handed before the student joins the school.
FROM ANOTHER EMIRATE OF THE UAE: A stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Emirate the school is located in.
