Steps for Enrolment

Domestic Students / Day Students

All enrolment applications are to be completed by a parent/guardian and submitted with supporting documentation using the online form. If you have problems completing the form please contact the Enrolment Manager enrolments@eggs.school.nz or phone the school 09 9706700

Once received, we will contact you by email to progress the application.

Boarding Students - Epsom House

If you live outside of the Auckland City boundaries you can apply to be a boarder at Epsom Girls Grammar School’s boarding facility, Epsom House. Epsom House was established to provide a quality living environment which supports the needs of our students. We promote and affirm personal excellence, achievement, confidence, respect and concern for others and a sense of community. Epsom House provides a 7 day a week boarding experience for students with the option to go home on weekends. We have limited numbers of senior places available. Please contact Celeste Cotter at ccotter@eggs.school.nz for an application pack if you are interested in your student boarding with us.

International Students

Applications from International students are welcomed and can be lodged at any time, it is recommended at least 6 months in advance of the intended start date due to high demand. How to Apply

We recommend submitting an application at least six months in advance due to high demand. The application must be fully completed with all supporting documents.

Incomplete applications will not be processed.

All copies of original documents must be verified by a lawyer, notary public, Justice of the Peace or an Epsom Girls approved Education Recruitment Agent. These need to be verified as true and correct copies, signed and dated.

Here is a brief timeline:

• Fully completed application with documents is received.
• An English test is sent for the student to complete
• You return the completed English test to us.
• We arrange for a Skype interview with our Director.
• If accepted, an offer of place is issued usually within 24 hours of the interview unless it is a weekend.
• Payment of fees is made before the deadline on the offer.
• We will issue you a receipt upon receiving fees.
• A visa application is made.
• We will send you orientation information approximately one month before you start.

Do you want help from a consultant to complete your application? Our School works with many agencies in many different countries and we can give you a choice of helpful advisors near you. They can give you native-speaker advice as well as helping with visa and travel arrangements.

Application Form Checklist

Have you attached the following documents to your completed application form?

• $50.00 administration fee donation
• Copy of most recent school report
• Copy of NCEA qualifications and/or record of learning
• Copy of birth certificate for New Zealand citizens
• Copy of NZ passport/other passport showing permanent residency or citizenship document for students born out of New Zealand
• Evidence of recent participation in co-curricular activities listed on front page
• One small recent photograph - passport size. (Please insert in space on front page of application).

It is essential that copies NOT originals are attached to safeguard against possible loss of valuable documents. These will not be returned.
