Enrolment Zone Category Information
Enrolment at Lynfield College is governed by an Enrolment Scheme, which recognises a growing demand for places at Lynfield College from our in-zone contributing schools.
The purpose of the enrolment scheme is to help manage overcrowding, to ensure fair and transparent selection, and to ensure the best use of Ministry of Education schools. Our Enrolment Scheme includes procedures for enrolling out-of-zone students if we have the capacity to do so.
In-Zone Enrolment
All students living within the zone are entitled to enrol if they are eligible domestic students.
Out of Zone Enrolment
Please Note: The Lynfield College Board of Trustees may approve a limited number of out-of-zone enrolments.
Out of Zone Enrolment is based on the following priority categories defined by the Education Act:

Please Note: Applications received after the advertised due dates will be added to the waiting list. Places will be offered to those on the waiting list if they become available.
