Choosing which school is right for your child is probably one of the biggest and most important decisions you will make. At TISB we aim to make the transition as easy as possible, and are here to help every step of the way.
As an international school in Bangalore serving applicants from around the world, we understand the need to be flexible to accommodate unique requirements, and therefore welcome applications from students throughout the year, subject to Grade Level availability.

Applicants will be required to submit the following information to the Admissions Department to proceed with an application

Step 6: Acceptance of a Place
Our teaching is based on the Cambridge International Curriculum until Grade 10 and International Baccalaureate for Grades 11 and 12. All lessons are taught in English. Applicants are required to take an Online Entrance Assessment and interviews are carried out via Skype.
A decision on offering a place at TISB will be made taking into account the Entrance Assessment, Interview and reports from the applicant’s previous school. We will also consider whether we feel a pupil will flourish at TISB and whether the school is able to provide adequately for their needs.
Pre-KG – Lower Grade 1
There is no Entrance Assessment carried out for applicants in these grade levels. Applicants will have an informal interview with the Deputy Principals of Primary Years.
Upper Grade 1 – Grade 5
Applicants will sit an Entrance Assessment in English and Mathematics and will have an informal interview with the Deputy Principals of Primary Years.
Grade 6 - 11
Applicants will be required to sit an Entrance Assessment in English, Mathematics and Non-verbal Reasoning. Successful applicants will have an interview.
