Karachi High School has a selective admissions policy. Grade level placement is determined by the applicants age, educational background and in-house testing. The final evaluation and decision is made by the Admissions Committee.
It is mandatory for both parents to be present with their child for the first interview.
Testing & Evaluation:
Applicants aged 3 and 4 are assessed for developmental readiness. The assessment takes place on site in the classroom.
All applicants aged 5-15, complete a two-part Admissions Test:
International Applicants:
International applicants are welcome to apply throughout the year.
Local Applicants:
Local applicants have a specific timeline that is not flexible. Applications for admission must be made in November for the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and between January – March forKey Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
School Year:
The Academic Year is divided into 3 Terms.
The new Academic Year or the First Term begins in the second week of August.

The Parent/Guardian has an intial interview with the Principal
An appointment is made for Student Evaluation and the Evaluation Fee is paid
Parents are provided with the Admission Form, and the CIPP, CLSP Curriculum Outline
The Parent/Guardian is notified of acceptance by the Administration
Complete documentation is provided to the Office by the Parent/Guardian
A letter of acceptance for the child is given to the Parent/Guardian to sign
A Fee Voucher is given to the Parent/Guardian
The Fee has to be directly paid to the Habib Metropolitan Bank within the time stipulated
