Admission Process - Offline
The admission process comprises of the following stages
- Obtaining the Brochure and application form for Admission, from the School office.
- Submitting the duly completed application form and supporting documents to TIS Administrative office and paying the Registration fee within the specified period.
- Informing about the admission decision by the school to the parents.
- Acceptance of the admission by the parents and payment of applicable fees/charges/expenses.
- Confirmation of admission by Thakur International School.
Admission Process - Online
The admission Online process are following stages
- Click on Admission enquiry on School website.
- Add enquiry for admission
- Purchase Admission Form by paying applicable charges
- Submit the duly filled form along with the required documents
- Pay registration charges
- On verification of admission form and uploaded documents, get confirmation from the School on admission decision.
- Pay the applicable fees/charges/expenses.
- Confirmation of admission by Thakur International School.
Application for Admission
The brochure, application form for admission and relevant documents can be obtained from the school admin office and is also available online.
The application form duly filled along with a recent passport sized photograph affixed, must be submitted to the School Office/online on or before the last stipulated date, along with the following documents
- One certified true copy of School Reports of the last three years (Wherever applicable).
- One certified true copy of the child's Birth Certificate, on which the name of the child is mentioned. Birth Certificate must be in English. If it is in Hindi or a regional language, an English translation of the same on Rs. 100/- stamp paper, duly notarized must be submitted. Original Birth Certificate must be produced for verification.
- Transfer certificate with UDISE No. from the last school attended (if the child is coming from Maharashtra). If the child is coming from outside Maharashtra the transfer certificate should be duly counter signed by the Education Officer of that area.
- For children of Indian Nationality coming from aboard, the Transfer Certificate must be duly attested by the Indian Embassy/High Commission. The date of Birth of the child should be clearly mentioned in the Transfer Certificate. It should contain names of parents, duration of the child’s study at that school and whether the child qualifies for promotion to next standard.
- For children not having Indian Nationality (coming from aboard) copy of relevant document (for e.g. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Overseas Citizen Of India (OCI) Card etc.) must be submitted
- Proof of Residence – Paid landline Telephone Bill/ Electricity Bill/ Voter Card, Passport and Aadhar Card copy.
- Two stamp sized photographs of (i) child (ii) both the parents to be submitted along with other documents.
- Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed and stamped by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Kindly ensure that the application form is complete in all respects, so as to facilitate the admission process.
Acceptance of Admission
Admission will be confirmed on receipt of the following, within the specified time.
- Applicable fees
- Security Deposit (Interest free and refundable)
- Transfer Certificate from the last school attended*
- Signature of both the parents on Application for Admission form.
* If for any reason, the Transfer Certificate and final examination report card of the last school attended cannot be produced at the time of admission, it must be produced on or before the re-opening date of the school.
Parent's declaration form is to be signed by parents, seeking to conform among other things, their financial responsibilities to the school, an agreement that they and the child will conform to the regulations of the school in force from time to time and that the school will not be liable for any damages or charges on account of injuries sustained by the child during his / her stay at the school.
