Our school provides British curriculum IGCSE and A-Level courses. All the students applying for our school need to attend academic experience day (tests and interview) due to the difficulty of IGCSE and A Level and to judge the potential to complete the courses from which they will benefit.Candidates must register online for the academic experience day.
Admission Target Group
No nationality or household register limit for students to apply for our school. All students with different race, religious belief and education background are considered and treated equally at ULC. However, ULC does not provide support for students with special physical, emotional, or learning needs. Therefore we will not accept the applications from these students.
Recruitment standard
Students need to meet the standard of English and Mathematics needed to be successful with the school's programme. Retake for the failed subject is allowed. Each student can retake twice.
Grade for study
Once the student pass the entrance exam for the grade they apply, they are allowed to study in this grade.If they pass it, they are allowed to study in this grade, or stay in the lower one. This policy is not applied to fresh Year 12 students.
Transfer of school
Student with study experience of GCSE/IGCSE or course system of the same level can apply for transfer to ULC. He/She needs to provide the report card with every single subject of Grade B or above. After approval he/she can officially enters ULC.
Bay Area Writing Project BAWP
In order to help the freshmen to adjust for the regular course in English, all of them are required to attend the BAWP at Nansha Campus site in July. For details and information please find in the presentation and materials handed out on test day.
Study Abroad Program in Australia
All Year 10 students are required to attend the Study Abroad Program in Brisbane, Australia. All details and information please find in the presentation and materials handed out on test day, as well as from the school official website.
