Application Form

Thank you for your interest in applying to DCB, one of the top international schools in China! We look forward to getting to know you during the admission process!

Students wishing to enrol in Dulwich College Beijing must fall into one of the following categories as stipulated by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission (BMEC) :

• Foreign passport holder with a valid Chinese visa or Travel Document.
• Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan passport holder with a valid Travel Permit.
• Chinese passport holder with foreign permanent residence permit and proof of having lived abroad for more than one year (need to provide the official entry/exit records from the National Immigration Admission website).
• Chinese passport holder with Hong Kong Residence Card (Pink Slip is not accepted).

If you are unsure of your child’s eligibility, please consult DCB Admissions for further advice.

Please have the following information/documents handy before you fill out the application. We recommend that you complete the application in one sitting which will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Please note that your application will only be processed when the application form is completed and submitted.

Required documents for completing the application (scanned copy)

• Parent’s valid passport and Chinese visa (if applicable)
• Applicant’s valid passport and Chinese visa (if applicable)
• Applicant’s Birth Certificate
• Official school reports from the last two school years in English, or verifiable English translation
• Applicant’s childhood vaccination/immunisation record
• Applicant’s colored ID photo in .jpeg/.jpg format (max. size 1MB)
• Supporting documents of individualized testing (optional)

Application Form has multiple sections to complete and Parents Contact Information (email address) is very important for us to communicate with you. Without parents email contact information, we are not able to process your application.

To ensure that all information is relevant to the student we ask you to complete a separate form per child. If you have more than one child to apply, please click on ‘Add Sibling’.

Applying to Dulwich College Beijing

Dulwich College Beijing opened in 2005 and is recognised as a leading international school in Beijing. Our College is a co-educational day school for students from Nursery to Year 13 (ages 3 to 18), with around forty different nationalities represented in our community.

Our College is academically selective and follows an enhanced British curriculum adapted for the needs of our international student body. Students in Years 10 and 11 study a curriculum that leads to IGSCE examinations and then follow the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13. Our strong academic curriculum is complemented by rich co-curricular activities.

Continuing the tradition of excellence of our founding school, our graduates go on to study at leading universities in the UK, USA and around the world.

The primary teaching language is English with a dual language approach in Mandarin and English for children aged 3 to 7. To ensure our students will thrive we assess the level of English of non-native speakers before making an offer. Our Mandarin programme is streamed and caters to all abilities.

The close collaboration among our Colleges gives our students unique opportunities to participate in network events and benefit from the group's relationships with leading educational and artistic organisations.

We encourage students and parents to visit our campus to learn more and meet the College leadership team. However due to current Health & Safety policy we are not allowed to have any visitors on the campus while our students are learning.
