Application process

Would you like to join us and kick off your studies? Then register now on our online registration system.

After you register we will contact you and let you know which documents you need to submit for vetting. If your application makes it through the admissions board by satisfying the entry criteria, you will then receive a study contract from us!

If you are not sure if you are eligible for a specific course, you can get in touch with Triagon’s Student Advisory Service staff who will assist you nd check your credentials before you register. The Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered by Triagon Academy start on the following dates:

Summer semester (starts on May 15) – Winter semester (starts on November 15)

In addition to our mainstream programmes, there are also those that are offered in cooperation with specific partners – in such case, the commencement date of the said programmes may not be the same as for the mainstream programmes – applicants for such programmes will be informed accordingly. You can find the exact start dates for the program that interests you on the respective course page.

Our Doctor of Business Administration programs intake open biannually on the following dates

Summer semester (starts on May 1st) – Winter semester (starts on November 1st)

In addition to the Doctor of Business Administration which is pegged at MQF/EQF level 8, Triagon Academy also offers a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme – the intake for this research-based level 8 programme is open all year round. Entry Requirements

Entry Requirnments For The Bachelor Of Science (B.SC.) In Business Management

Applicants must satisfy the General Entry Requirements for admission, namely, the Matriculation Certificate and Secondary Education Certificate passes at Grade 5 or better in English Language and Mathematics. Students must also produce evidence of language proficiency at a B2 level referred to CEFR in the language of instruction.

If students do not fulfil all the requirements they can take additional preparatory courses.

Entry Requirnments For The Master Of Science (M. SC) In Leadership and Strategic Management

A Bachelor degree or equivalent (Level 6) in business management / administration, economics or a related field which has been awarded from an accredited university. In general all student with a Bachelor degree can be accepted after an individual counseling. All students receive individual supervision that helps them to achieve their study goals. There is special couseling and advice for underperforming students of how to improve their learning skills.

Students must produce evidence of English language proficiency at IELTS:6.0 or equivalents with a minimum of 5 in each component or English B2 referred to CEFR. The students with a low IELTS score will get additional support that also includes a free online course in Business English and additional online resources as well as individual tutoring.

Entry Requirnments For The Master Of Science (M.SC.) In Sports and Exercise Science

A Bachelor degree or equivalent (Level 6) in Sports Sscience or a related field which has been awarded from an accredited university.

Students with a general Bachelor degree can be accepted after an individual counselling. All students receive individual supervision that helps them to achieve their study goals. Triagon provides special couseling and advice for underperforming students of how to improve their learning skills.

For those students whom degree was issued from a non-English instruction university, they must produce evidence of English language proficiency at IELTS:6.0 or equivalents with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, i.e. Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing or English B2 referred to CEFR. The students with a low IELTS score will get additional support that also includes a free course in English and additional resources as well as individual tutoring.

Entry Requirnments For The Master Of Business Administration MBA

Applicants must satisfy the General Entry Requirements for admission:

  • Bachelor Degree (at least second class honours) from Triagon or any other recognised institution and at least two years of work experience in a managerial or executive position* or
  • Equivalent Professional Qualifications from a recognized institution, plus a Minimum Two Years Corporate Experience or
  • aged twenty-six years or over and be in possession of a higher diploma or a diploma from a university comprising not less than 90 ECTS credits in a related area with at least a Merit classification, or equivalent qualifications. Such applicants will be required to demonstrate through an interview that they are able to follow the Course with profit.**
  • Students must produce evidence of language proficiency at a C2 level referred to CEFR in the language of instruction. language proficiency must be demonstrated through an independent testing agency, such as IELTS.

*Applicants with non-business degree may be required to take additional preparatory courses.
** These applicants may also be required to successfully complete a Preparatory Programme consisting of study-units od up to 30 credits prior to their registration as regular students on the course – this will depend on the outcome of the interview.

Entry Requirnments For The Doctoral Of Administration (DBA)

Candidates must have the ability and opportunity to carry out detailed research activity in one or more organisations. Candidates will normally have already gained an MBA or other business-related master’s degree, together with 2-3 years of business and management experience. Candidates are required to submit a 3000 word proposal and successfully pass a panel interview. They have to demonstrate the capability for doing independent research at level 8 MQF.

Students must produce evidence of English language proficiency at IELTS:6.0 or equivalents with a minimum of 5 in each component or English B2 referred to CEFR.

Triagon Academy has a Recognition of Prior Learning policy which has been approved by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. The policy document which can be obtained by clicking here RPL_TOC Policy_approved deals with two types of RPL as defined by MFHEA, namely: (i) Recognition of Prior Learning, and (iv) Credit Transfer. The content is the policy is structured in two sections which will allow prospective and current students to make a clear distinction between the two on the basis of European legal framework and their implementation.

  • Copy of identification card or passport (front and back)

  • Proof of English language skills (at least level B2) for those from countries where English is not the official language
  • For non-EU / non-Swiss citizens: Residence permit and insurance status for the respective
    country
