At SISM, all lessons and examinations are conducted in English (except for Foreign Languages). Therefore, as part of the application process, your child’s English proficiency will be assessed.

Application Process
Step 1: Review Admission Criteria & Age Requirements
- Download the August Admission Requirements & Timeline (May application)
- Verify year group placement.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
- Complete the online application form.
- Submit all required supporting documents with the application.
Step 3: Pay Application Fee
- After submitting your application, a non-refundable fee of RM1,000 is required for processing.
- Applications will be considered only after payment has been completed, and all necessary documents have been received.
SISM is pleased to announce a Special Rebate of 15% on Tuition Fees.
Further details regarding this exclusive offer will be provided upon submission of the application for admission to SISM. Please note that there is a limited number of Special Rebates available, and terms and conditions do apply.
Step 4: Entrance Assessment and Interview
- All applicants undergo an English proficiency test, and Year 8 and Year 9 applicants must take a mandatory Mathematics test.
- The details of the assessment will be communicated to you via email once it is scheduled.
- An interview with the admissions panel is mandatory for applicants and their parents/guardians.
Note: Additional assessments/documents may be requested by the admissions panel.
Step 5: Receive the Admission Offer and Confirm
- Successful applicants receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
- Parents/guardians must respond within the specified timeframe; failure to do so will be considered declining the offer.
Step 6: Payment and Enrolment
- Upon acceptance, parents/guardians must pay a deposit, enrolment fee, tuition fee, technology fee and boarding fee (if applicable) to secure the student’s place.
Step 7: Class Commencement
Documents required for Admission
- School academic reports / Academic transcripts for the most recent two years
- Proof of years of education / School leaving or graduation certificate.
- Letter confirming the current grade.
- Certificate of extra-curricular activities or achievements (e.g. sports, skills and talents)
- Malaysian student’s MyKad / International student’s passport - Scanned copy of the information pages, the latest entry stamp/pass.
- Parents’ MyKad / International Parents’ passport - Scanned copy of the information pages, the latest entry stamp/pass.
- Proof of parental/guardian relationship / Birth certificate / Relevant legal document.
