As the premier and oldest established educational institution in Casablanca and the School of Choice for many families relocating to Morocco, we encourage and welcome your inquiry as early as possible.
Casablanca American School is a not-for-profit school which welcomes inquiries from Moroccan, other permanent residents, and all expatriate families either living in or moving to Morocco.
We offer rolling admissions, which means that families may inquire for an application at any time of the year.
In making admissions decisions, we offer placement to those students who we trust to succeed in our Casablanca American School curriculum.
There are many factors that will influence an inquiry for application including:
Prioritization Policy: The Casablanca American School uses a priority ranking to consider admitting students to classes which are close to being full. Kindly consult the Admissions Office should you need further information or assistance in this regard.
Step 1: Inquiry Form
Prospective parents must submit a completed Admissions Inquiry Card to the school. Once this card is completed and submitted, parents may arrange for an appointment to meet with the Admissions Officer to take a tour of the school and to obtain an Admissions Packet.
Step 2: Preparing the Application Form
Once you submit your online Admissions Inquiry Card, you will receive an application form via email that you may download, fill out and send back to us.
In order to start the application process, it is absolutely imperative that we obtain your fully completed application form together with all of the necessary documentation required as follows:
Step 3: Reviewal of Application Form & Entrance Testing/Observation
Once the completed application is submitted, the Admissions team will schedule an Observation/ Entrance Test (depending on the age of the applicant) once the application file has been accepted.
Step 4: Decision Panel
At this point, your child has passed the Observation/Entrance Test and is offered a seat by our Administrative team.
Step 5: Enrollment & Tuition Payment
Age Placement:
At CAS we use the cut-off date of October 1st to determine grade allocation for age groups. Students should have reasonable maturity and clearly demonstrate readiness before enrolling in school.
Proof of Age Documentation
Prior to first time enrollment at the school, the parent or guardian must provide a certified copy of the child's birth certificate. In the event that a copy of the birth certificate cannot be obtained, another proof of the student's identity and date of birth may be accepted if it is accompanied by an affidavit explaining the inability to produce a copy of the birth certificate. Other reliable proofs of the child's identity and birth date may include a passport, visa or other governmental documentation of the child's identity.
