Application Procedure

Fill out the application form

Provide the following:

• A photocopy of the student’s passport if available
• An official transcript from the applicant’s current school for the past year
• A photocopy of the graduation certificate from the previous school (for Grade 7 and Grade 10 )
• A photocopy of the ID card of the guardian living in China
• Proof of medical/health insurance ( students above 16)
• 6 passport-size photos

Written notice will be given to those applicants for the exam date. They will receive the admission letter and registration notice if they pass the entrance exam and interview.

Eligibility

The International Division selects and admits only qualified students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, overseas Chinese and international students from grade 1 through 12. Candidates are required to take assessment tests before being accepted.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• 6 years of age or older
• Good health
• A guardian in Shanghai for students who will attend the school for longer than 3 months.

Applicants will be given a series of placement tests upon arrival at the International Division to assess their academic ability. The tests involve competency in English, Math and Chinese.
