Mercy College

Enrolment

Mercy College caters for students in Years 7 to 12. Entry is usually at Year 7, but a limited number of places may be available for entry at other levels from time to time. Applications for enrolment are made when a student is in Year 5 , according to dates established by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools.

Following application for enrolment, prospective parents and students are invited for interview at the College. When applications exceed the number of available places, offers are made according to the Enrolment Policy of the College.

Procedures

In accordance with Mercy College Enrolment Policy the procedure for application for Year 7 is:

An application form must be submitted with the following:

• A copy of the child's birth certificate
• If not born in Australia, a copy of the Australian Citizenship documents or a copy of the passport and visa
• A copy of the child's Baptism Certificate (if the child is baptised Catholic)
• A copy of the child's last school report

Interviews for all applicants and parents / guardians will be conducted

Offers to successful candidates will be made in accordance with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic School guidelines

Initial contact to be made with the Registrar to discuss the application

An application form must be submitted with the following:
