Enrolment Process

For Years 1-6

Please complete an Application to Enrol form and email to the school office

Documentation required:

• a completed enrolment form
• a copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport and visa, as appropriate
• an immunisation certificate
• proof of the address of family residence (utility bill to family name/lease agreement) .

Prep Enrolments

Prep digital enrolment applications for Next year.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enrol for Prep , your child will need to turn 5 years of age by 30th April 2020.

School Tours

In order to assist you in making this very important and exciting decision, we will arrange school tours commencing in next April. These will enable you to see the school at work and to ask questions of the Principal and Assistant Principals.

Enrolment Process

The Department of Education (DE) has released a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian Government primary school, including Mount View Primary School.

 Mount View PS will move to a DIGITAL ONLINE Prep enrolment application process using the VIC student portal. No hard copies of enrolment forms will be accepted for Prep Enrolments.

What you need to do:

• Book a tour – to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
• Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Prep Parent Carer Pack.

• Please REGISTER and submit your Prep enrolment via VIC student portal. VIC student portal by Friday 26 July 

• School enrolment zone can be found on the Find My School website.
• You will be notified of the outcome of your digital online application between Monday 29th July and Friday 9th August 
• If you receive an offer of placement, you need to 'accept' online via VIC student portal by Friday 23 August 
• Take part in transition sessions during Term 4
• Your child will start Foundation (Prep) from Wednesday 29 January

Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July will be processed by the school as they are received, in accordance with the Department of Education's Placement Policy.
