Registration and admissions

Education must be accessible and all community members should be able to benefit from high quality education.We provide an easy admissions process.Thank you for your interest in BIS – Al Olaya. Please read the information and regulations below prior to submitting your application. A student seeking admission to a particular class must have passed the final examinations of the lower class immediately preceding the class to which admission is sought. A certificate to this effect obtained from the school last attended is to be submitted along with the duly completed application form.

Requirements

Parents or guardians of children entering school for the first time shall present a certified birth certificate or satisfactory proof of age upon entrance into BIS-AlOlaya. Students are required to fill the admission form and submit all documents pertaining to their identity and transfer from another school where necessary.

• A copy of the parent’s/guardian’s passport.
• A copy of the student’s passport.
• A copy of the parent’s valid iqama (resident permit).
• A copy of the student’s valid iqama (resident permit).
• A copy of the student’s birth certificate.
• A copy of the student’s vaccination certificate.
• All academic reports, transcripts and transfer certificate from previous school(s) attended.
• Approval for attending school from the Ministry of Education.
• Financial clearance certificate from the previous school.
• A letter of introduction from the parent’s/guardian’s employer.
• 4 passport-size photos of the student.
