Entry Requirements
At BISB, we offer places all year round to children aged 3 to 18. After taking a tour and completing our online application form, we'll invite your child to sit an age-appropriate assessment. This ensures we can meet their learning needs and provide the right blend of challenge and support.
We’re proud to be a fully inclusive school. We have an outstanding team of learning support specialists who provide for a range of needs. Their capacity is limited, however, so please let us know if your child has any additional educational requirements when you first get in touch with us.
Step-By-Step Admissions Process
Ready to start your child’s application? Here's what you need to do next.
- Make an enquiry: Start your BISB admissions journey today by filling in our online enquiry form. We'll get back to you within 24 hours (local time, Monday to Friday).
- Take a tour: The best way to get a feel for our lively community, beautiful natural setting, and commitment to academic excellence is to visit us in Budapest. We offer virtual discovery tours if you can't make it in person.
- Send us your application: Your child can join us at any time during the academic year. As well as filling in our online form, you'll need to send us some supporting documents.
- Offering and accepting aplace: All being well, we'll offer your child a place and confirm their start date. You'll then need to accept their place in writing.
- Starting school: We know that starting at a new school can be daunting. We'll do everything we can to make the process as smooth as possible, ensuring both you and your child quickly settle into our closeknit community.
