Admission for KG1 to class 12 is open to all candidates subject to the vacancy. However, admission to grade X and XII will be granted, if vacancies exist, in rare cases of transfer of residence subject to approval from the CBSE.
General Guidelines
- Admission registration is valid for one academic year.
- Admission is based on merit. Siblings (only directly related) will be given preference. Parents seeking admissions under priority for siblings should specify the student admission number and parent ID at the space provided in the application form for verification.
- Admission will be based on the age criteria as stipulated by the Ministry of Education.
- It is mandatory to possess valid Passport and Qatar Resident Permit of the student, Father and Mother at the time of admission and relevant documents must be submitted before granting admission.
- Parents seeking admission shall first register by completing the on-line application available in the website www.sisqatar.info. The application form will be available based on the vacancy.
- Admission will be granted in the order of merit. Short-listed candidates are called for admission process only against the existing vacancy.
- Candidate seeking admission to grade II to XII must qualify the proficiency test that assesses the expected skill levels and previous knowledge. For grade II to IX the subjects included for the proficiency test are English, Mathematics, and Science (or Environmental Science). For grades X to XII knowledge on all five subjects taught in the previous class is tested. For the admissions in the middle of the academic year, the proficiency test will be on the same above subjects of the previous term of the same class.
- For admission to KG and Montessori, an interaction of the candidate with a team of KG / Montessori teachers in the presence of both the parents is organized to record the level of physical, emotional and cognitive development of the child.
- For admission to class 1, a proficiency test is administered to determine the level of verbal and numeracy skills attained.
- Children with special learning needs, abilities and challenges will be evaluated on a case to case basis and admission is granted if the child could be integrated with the mainstream, based on the school’s available resources.
Admission Process
Step I:
- Fill The Online Form
- All the mandatory fields need to be filled.
- Read all school policy documents before making the declaration.
- You will receive an email confirmation of the registration.
Step II
- Eligible students as per the age criteria will be called for an interaction with teachers.
- Admission will be subject to availability of seats as per the Ministry of Education and Higher Education approval.
Step III
- The documents are verified.
- Confirmation with transport department on the transport facility.
- Admission is confirmed upon payment of fees.
Documents
- Copy of Student’s valid Passport and valid Qatar ID (Produce original for verification).
- Copy of Father’s valid Passport and valid Qatar ID (Produce original for verification).
- Copy of Mother’s valid Passport and valid Qatar ID (Produce original for verification).
- Copy of Attested and Authenticated Birth Certificate of student (Produce original for verification).
- Copy of Health card and Vaccination Records.
- Original Transfer Certificate from Previous School (For KG 2 onwards).
- Previous Year’s Progress Report indicating the promotion status to which the class is applied for admission (Produce Original Report for verification. Applicable for KG2 onwards).
- Previous year’s mark sheet, attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Applicable for class 2 onwards).
- Two recent (not more than 6 months) Passport size Colour Photograph of Student, Mother and Father.
- Migration certificate (for class 11).
- Copy of CBSE Registration Card from previous School (For class 10 admissions).
- Location map of the Residence.
