Laundry Attendant - Resort Laundry

Job Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Attendant to join our team. The main duties of this role:

• Report to duty on time in full uniform
• Sign the attendance register, Time in and Time out
• Load/ unload trolleys from the vehicle
• Sort out soiled linen into different wash loads
• Keep work area clean and tidy
• Use correct operating procedure of all type of machine in the laundry
• Keep the department and machinery clean at all time
• Follow fire and safety procedure in the department
• To attend the training carried out by the hotel management
• Carry out other duties as directed / requested by laundry manager and team leader

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Successfully completed Secondary Education
• 1 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledgeable in Fabrics
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Machineries
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Chemicals
• Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Spotting Chemicals
