International boarding at Regents International School Pattaya is a wonderful experience for children that will enhance their educational experience with us, while providing them with the opportunities required to build their confidence as people and broaden their horizons. We aim to make our boarding community a second home for students, where they feel part of a happy, caring and safe family. Boarding starts for students aged eight.

Located in the verdant green countryside away from the bustling streets of Bangkok (although close enough to visit the city) our boarders enjoy beautiful, contemporary accommodation, including air-conditioned rooms, fitness facilities, and areas to socialise with their second family. While boarding places a keen focus on further improving academic performance, we also provide exciting experiences for children at weekends, including go-karting, wakeboarding and trips to elephant sanctuaries and waterparks. In addition to these activities, children will also become culturally educated and enriched with visits to traditional arts and culture villages and the historic ruins of Ayutthaya.

Benefits of Boarding

A Learning Enviroment

Boarding life designed to meet your child's high expectations and focus on their learning

Our boarding houses are the ideal places to really focus on study with like-minded students and internet access, there really is every opportunity to develop independent learning skills.

Daily additional qualified teacher support, and the help of our full time boarding team and senior students will ensure academic rigour. The highest achievers in IB and IGCSE consistently come from a background of boarding and this was true. With English as the shared language boarding is also the perfect place to quickly develop conversational and writing skills. All of that, and no travelling time to get to and from home – perfect!

Caring for Your child

Every one of our boarders receive outstanding pastoral care whilst being part of a thriving community.

We value and respect our boarders, providing them with 24/7 term time care with a full structure of experienced specialist boarding staff in residence. We live in the same buildings as our boarders and are always here to support them and their parents with advice and genuine care. We get to know our boarders well – we are trustworthy and ready to give honest advice. Whether the issue is academic, emotional, social or physical our experienced team are always happy to act as mentors.

Our boarding facilities are modern, secure and comfortable and our full time nursing, security, housekeeping and catering teams will ensure that your child is kept safe and healthy

Time and Space to Grow

Our first priority at Regents is that your child feels happy in his or her boarding environment and is healthy, safe and secure at all times.

While we operate to health and safety standards laid down by British legislation, our boarding community is housed securely within the school grounds set 10km outside the city of Pattaya. This means there are no long journeys to school, there is plenty of space and fresh air, and Boarders have easy access to our extensive sporting facilities. Healthy and delicious food is always available, both from our comprehensive meal plan and as snacks within our boarding houses. A free daily laundry service is available to all Boarders.

Being a member of one of our diverse international houses allows your child the opportunity and space to grow into maturity by way of an age-appropriate journey. Respect, tolerance and responsibility are at the heart of our community and, as the children progress through the year groups, they are challenged with opportunities to become more independent. Making mistakes and learning from them is well managed within our safe and caring environment.

Occasional Boarding

Your child takes advantage of our boarding provision staying at school for occasional nights (Monday to Thursday with prior arrangement). It may be to help you when you have a business appointment or an important social event, or it may be that your child wants to spend some social time with their friends.

Sleepover Club

Your child takes the chance to experience a real taste of boarding life joining us on Friday after school and staying with us until early Saturday evening giving you the flexibility to make plans around other commitments. Fun activities surround a delicious dinner, followed by a good night’s sleep in our boarding house. After breakfast on Saturday there will be a fun activity, usually off campus and including lunch. For additional fees – your child stays with us on Saturday night and joins our on campus activities on Sunday. All meals are provided. This option ends at 6pm on Sunday evening.

If your child then stays with us for Sunday night we will get them safely to school ready for classes on Monday morning after a tasty breakfast.

Part Time Boarding

This option offers you a balance between the demands of work and home life. It introduces independence and provides your child with a range of opportunity and experience. They can board for the regular nights that you choose between Monday and Thursday and you can be sure that we’ll take great care of them, making sure that they complete their homework as well as having a fun time.
