Beaconhills College runs a boutique residential program. Our house is adjacent to the College - just a five minute walk to the centre of the Pakenham Campus.
The residence is staffed 24 hours by qualified and experienced residential supervisors and mentors. All meals (breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, dinner and supper) are provided as well as a range of weekend and holiday activities.
Supervised study and support for academic and student wellbeing is catered for by the staff, as well as the opportunity to learn a range of life skills to help students develop into modern, global citizens ready to take on any challenges that come their way.
International students can take advantage of short or long-term Homestay options, from two to four weeks or longer if desired.
All Homestay families live near Beaconhills College or have access to convenient transport. For long-term stays, families provide a single, fully furnished room, three meals a day and laundry facilities.
Homestay gives international students the chance to learn about Australia in a safe, supportive and friendly environment. It is also a wonderful opportunity for all host family members to learn more about other cultures and languages. Many international students form lasting friendships with host families and stay in contact with them long after returning to their home country.
Homestay hosts must be Australian citizens and hold a current 'Working With Children' card. They are selected and approved by the College's International Department.
