BSS Boarding welcomes Grade 8 to 12 students from Canada and around the world to an extraordinary learning and living experience. Along with a first-class academic program, our diverse group of students enjoy an endless choice of co-curricular activities. In a safe, comfortable, supportive and nurturing environment, our Boarding girls create powerful friendships with peers from around the world and generate learning experiences that last a lifetime.
BSS Boarding provides students with extensive academic and social support. A dedicated Boarding staff member works closely with the school’s Learning Resource Centre to ensure girls are receiving support necessary for success and evening study sessions are a regular part of the Boarding program. A variety of fun annual events bring students together as a community and celebrate cultures from around the world. Service learning opportunities teach ethical citizenship and the value of giving back. It’s a complete and unique program that puts every boarder’s well-being at the centre of all we do. From weekend activities in the city, to reflective time in her room, to the playing field, a boarder’s life in BSS Boarding is filled with opportunities for growth, and our live-in Boarding staff are always on hand to nurture, support and make the most of every teachable moment. Students have full access to extensive athletic facilities, and our Food Services team that works closely with staff and students to provide healthy meals that meet personal dietary needs or restrictions. Living with girls from 18 different countries gives students a chance to discover new cultures and prepares them to live and work effectively in our globalized world.

At BSS, our caring staff combine high levels of support with high expectations.
