Each year there is a new offering of travel education and service learning trips which have, in the past, included opportunities to study English at the University of Cambridge in the U.K.; build a school in Ecuador as part of a Me to We service trip; and participate in research focussed on environmental sustainability at the Island School in the Bahamas.

We Get Technology
In our Senior School, you are required to have an Apple notebook of your own which you use in most of your classes. Our online learning management tool, Edsby, helps you keep up to date on your class work and assignments. In fact, TCS has one of the most integrated information technology programs in Canada.

Robotics, astronomy and history trips are just some of the FUN ways of learning at TCS. Hands-on learning allows you to really experience, explore and engage in topics.
For example, learn about our Grade 10 Travel History students who took an amazing 11-day trip to tour major historic sites of World War I and World War II in Europe.

School facilities include a 40,000 ft2 athletic centre, 5 gymnasiums, an indoor pool, a hockey arena, 5km cross country course, 9 playing fields, 4 tennis courts, 5 squash courts, beach volleyball courts, a rowing room, a dance studio, a weight room, a cardio and resistance facility and an athletic therapy clinic.

Sure, you can call, text and video chat whenever, but what if you feel like going home? School breaks and holidays throughout the year are the perfect time for in-person family visits. At TCS, we also aim to offer all the comforts of home, so you really feel like the School is your "second home."

From sniffles to sprained ankles, health professionals on staff have treated it all. At TCS, our holistic approach to health care encompasses both physical and mental well-being. The on-campus Health Centre and the Frances Price Athletic Therapy Clinic are open daily and offer access to medical professionals in support of your overall health.

CHILL on the weekend
Want to get off campus on the weekend? Organized trips offer you and your friends the chance to spend the day shopping, attend a live sporting event or a theatre production, watch the latest blockbuster movie or check out some of Toronto’s best tourist attractions. And on long weekends, the School’s Capture Canada program offers extended trips to incredible Canadian destinations – offering you an amazing adventure while exploring this beautiful and diverse country.
Prefer to stay closer to home? On-campus offerings might include time on the rink or in the pool, a round of Ultimate Frisbee or a pick-up game of basketball with other students. There is always something to do on a campus with so many amenities! If you choose to stay busier, Service Saturdays allow you to volunteer your time at the local animal shelter or retirement facility.
