We welcome international students to the Kells community. Our warm school environment and our comprehensive program promises to be beneficial for all participants. By the end of their educational journey at Kells, students are enthusiastic learners, who are well-prepared for their university years and their future.

Upon arrival at Kells, international students are interviewed to determine their English levels. They must demonstrate their English language proficiency by completing one of the following tests as part of the admissions process: TOEFL, IELTS, or CAEL. Reading and writing abilities are evaluated and an individual program is developed and tailored to the needs of each student. Our ELL program provides dedicated support for students whose first language is not English. Classes are available for students from Grades 7-11. The goal of these classes is to improve their English proficiency and work towards integration into the regular English Language Arts classes as soon as possible.

Kells Academy welcomes students from all around the world. International students should apply six months to one year in advance in order to complete the admission process.
