At The Woodstock Academy, you're family! Join us on South Campus!
Life in the dorms is an extension of the warm and supportive community at The Woodstock Academy. Our diverse residential community is made up of students from across the world and the United States. Twenty-five families live on campus and serve as dorm parents that support you through the joys and challenges of high school while also sharing important life skills to develop independence.
Meals
You’ll enjoy weekday breakfasts and lunches with your classmates on North Campus. Dinners and weekend meals are served on South Campus with other students and families living on campus.
The dinning service team works hard to prepare delicious and balanced meals that represent our diverse community. Students are invited to be a part of the food committee to explore and prepare cuisine from around the world.
Night and Weekend Activities
Karaoke, dodgeball, movie nights, and sharing cultures over home-cooked meals and holiday celebrations are some of the on-campus activities you will learn to love. The Woodstock Academy House Program sorts students into one of four houses to build greater community across different dorms and grades. Will you be in house Bowen, Hyde, Dohan, or McClellan?
Woodstock, Connecticut is a charming, historic New England town and the excitement of Boston, Providence, and New York City are not far away for daytrips on the weekends. Shopping, bowling, skiing, local ice cream shops, New England hikes, and the beach are also popular group outings.
Residence Halls: Your Home Away From Home
Students live in one of our three on-campus residence halls with two students per room (this will be different with COVID). Residence life staff live in apartments throughout each of the dorms.
