Fulneck has a strong international community, with boarders joining us from around the world. We are proud of the diversity of our pupils and the cultural enrichment this provides to our school.
When a pupil joins us in boarding, they join the Fulneck family, living amongst their best friends in a boarding house run by warm and caring staff.
Boarding is available on a termly, weekly or flexible basis so that pupils can stay for as many nights as they need
Fulneck boarders have a fantastic experience of the school campus and surrounding area, with access to scenic local walking routes, our gym, neighbouring golf course, library, and music rooms. Each boarding house offers well appointed single, double, and triple rooms.
In the evenings, boarders study in comfortable surroundings, and can also take advantage of our full programme of extra-curricular activities. At weekends, Fulneck provides plenty of trips and experiences such as go-karting, climbing, canoeing, as well as attending sporting events, theatre, and cinema.
A Beautiful British Setting, Internationally Connected
Fulneck is situated just 20 minutes away from Leeds and less than an hour from Manchester, two fantastic cities offering many opportunities for supervised activities at weekends to enhance the boarding experience.
Leeds has an international airport with flights to many European capital cities and Manchester airport offers flights across the world, including three daily flights to Dubai, with hundreds of onward flight connections.
London is also accessible by train in just over two hours.
