The vision for Clontarf Aboriginal College is to be a beacon or a lighthouse for Aboriginal students, giving them a pathway to success and providing all the opportunities and support that they will require on that journey. Our role in boarding is to support that vision by, teaching and equipping our students the many life skills that they will require.

Ngulla Mia Boarding facility at Clontarf has two new outstanding Boarding houses. The new boarding facilities provide accommodation for 120 students from around Western Australia and interstate. There are 80 places for boys and 40 places for girls- in two separate building which have a common dinning and recreation room. There are extensive opportunities for students to progress with their studies and enjoy their leisure time. There is a fine commercial- standard kitchen in which nutritious meals are prepared for all boarders.

Our aim through boarding is to teach our students worthwhile habits that will set them up for a good life when they leave Clontarf. Whenever a new student is given the privilege of becoming a Ngulla Mia boarder, then they are expected to understand and be committed to Ngullas Mia’s culture and expectations.

Ngulla Mia boarding has a strong focus on; Respect, Honesty, personal responsibility, and consideration for others.

It is the responsibility of every boarding house student to try to take advantage of the very special opportunities that are provided.
