Check-in/Check-out
All students who reside on campus are expected to check in no later than August 17. There will be one pick up for returning students on this mandatory date; all other students not returning on August 18th will find their own transportation. Orientation for all international resident students will take place at the Marquette Mansion during the week of August 18th times for orientation will be scheduled as needed. It is recommended that students and or agents contact Jennifer Quinlan for their arrival date and travel times. The school’s number is 219.210.4505. Once students arrived they will be greeted by staff and given their room assignments. At the Mansion rooms will accommodate two students. The student and Resident Dean will complete the Room Inventory Form at this time. After completing the form, the student will be permitted to move belongings into his/her room. All students are expected to unpack and remove suitcases within seven days. Students will be assigned rooms prior to arrival.
Violations may result in temporary or permanent loss of computer privileges, Internet access, and possible confiscation at the discretion of the Dean of Residents. All prohibited items will be confiscated. Health and Safety Inspections Residential rooms, furniture, etc., are the property of Marquette Catholic High School – not the residents. Residents are expected to maintain neat and orderly rooms at all times. A weekly scheduled cleaning time for all students will be assigned. A member of the Resident Staff will inspect rooms weekly. Rooms will be checked for general cleanliness, empty trash cans, bathrooms, etc. all garbage will be taken out daily from the student's room. Not cleaning your room on the assigned day will result in weekend privileges being suspended. Materials that do not correspond with and uphold Catholic values will not be tolerated and will be immediately confiscated and disciplinary action will be taken. Every evening at lights-out, rooms will be checked to ensure that all residents are accounted for. Marquette Catholic High School reserves the right to inspect and search rooms at ANY time. Students are responsible for providing their own personal toiletry supplies.
